Full Job Description

The Delivery Lead - Claimsco-owns end-to-end delivery of business solutions for the scope of the Claims Delivery Team alongside Transformation & Change Delivery (TCD).

S / he understands the claims business strategy, needs and challenges of the business partners s / he supports as well as the end-to-end processes for those businesses.

Oversees all applications supporting the Claims team to ensure service levels are received and system changes are delivered to expectation.

Accountable for the design, delivery, and support of Claims solutions.

What will your essential responsibilities include?

  • Project Leadership : Plan, execute, and deliver claims initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and project objectives.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration : Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements, provide updates, and address concerns throughout project delivery.

  • Resource Optimization : Allocate resources effectively, including team members, budget, and technology assets, to optimize application delivery.

  • Risk Mitigation : Identify and address potential risks and issues to minimize disruptions and ensure successful project outcomes.

  • Quality Assurance : Implement quality control processes to ensure claims applications meet regulatory and security standards.

  • Vendor Management : Oversee relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring alignment with SLAs and project objectives.

  • Team Leadership : Mentor team members, foster a collaborative working culture, and promote SAFe Agile practices.

  • Continuous Improvement : Stay updated on industry trends and drive initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

    Considerable experience in planning and executing complex, large scale initiatives or operational area. Preference given to those with Scaled Agile Framework experience.

  • Significant leadership experience in both Claims and IT

  • Budget, supply, and resource management for in scope applications and services

  • Hold suppliers accountable for performance against Service Levels

  • Ensure appropriate SoWs / SLAs exist for all development vendor engagements

  • Measurable improvements in service delivery over time

  • Internal and external audit support

  • Knowledge Management strategy for process, training and applications

  • Excellent communication skills, particularly on key matters relating to the application grouping to stakeholders

  • Proven planning and organization skills, creating own work schedules, prioritizing workload, preparing in advance and setting realistic timescales.

  • Adaptable to new / different strategies, programs, technologies, practices, cultures, etc. Comfortable with change, able to easily make transitions.
