Full Job Description

As an experienced Service delivery manager, you will lead and co-ordinate the dependent requirements of the delivery partner across defined delivery sprints for each service area, in particular working closely with the delivery partners Scrum Master and Development Team. You will work closely with the Head of Digital and ICT and the Customer & Digital Programme., to work with colleagues to achieve delivery plan objectives and targets.
- to comply with data protection legislation and the council's Information Security Policy, including supporting policies
- to be willing and able to work in a flexible and agile way with regard both to hours of work and location of work, including remote and home working, as required, subject to service needs and requirements
- to participate in performance development, talent reviews and one-to-ones and to contribute to the identification of your own and team development needs and goals
- to actively promote and comply with the council's diversity and equality policies
- to ensure full compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 etc., the council's Health and Safety Policy and all locally agreed safe methods of work
- to fully understand and be aware of the commitment to Section 17 'Duty of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 to prevent crime and disorder'
- at the discretion of the senior management, to undertake other activities as, from time to time, may be agreed consistent with the grade and nature of the role
- to undertake and maintain relevant mandatory training in line with legislation
Key service accountabilities:
- to ensure the final Voice AI implementation reflects the requirements of the Council and Residents.
- to lead on and champion service engagement and consultation through the life of the project.
- monitor project progress and provide robust information and reporting, as and when required, including all associated project planning, risk, issues, and actions, ensuring they are understood, highlighted, and escalated as appropriate.
- to ensure the impact of dependencies on other projects and to the Voice AI Project is understood, highlighted, and escalated as appropriate.
- to ensure service quality and value for money remains at the centre of the project.
- to ensure cost reductions are identified and realised, such as through apportionment considerations and innovative approaches.
- be a point of contact on all matters relating to Voice AI delivery.
- develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders to deliver a complex and time sensitive project.
- manage all necessary resources to progress and close the Voice AI project.
- act as an ambassador for change in the undertaking of the Voice AI project.
- to contribute to a culture that values all people for their positive contributions to work and encourages and supports high levels of standards of inter-personal behaviour and professional performance
- effective consultation, empowerment and working with staff, ensuring that staff can access continual support and development opportunities relevant to the project
- promote and sustain a positive working relationship with elected members

Salary: £51,801 - £59,724 per annum)
Grade G
Fixed Term Contract - 6 Months
37 Hours per Week (please state if term-time)
