Full Job Description

To undertake the delivery and collection of medication and stocks to and from the wards and departments and the Pharmacy Aseptic Unit department and the outpatient dispensary
Assist with assembling and disinfecting ingredients into clean room
Assist with setting up cleanroom equipment
Support the work of the Aseptic Services in the provision of late night, weekend and bank holiday service., Qualifications - Please be advised that if the post that you are applying for requires any level of qualification (e.g. A-Levels, Degree etc) or Professional Registration (e.g. Nursing and Midwifery Council, General Medical Council etc) you will be required to provide proof as part of the pre-employment process. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a enthusiastic, highly motivated delivery/pharmacy support person to join our friendly and dynamic team to provide high quality aseptic services.
Full Time 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 8.45- 17.00
You will be part of an expanding team of highly professional and dedicated staff whose aim is to provide an excellent, patient focus service.
The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust strives to innovate and improve care to patients. The Trust has recently approved the business case for a new pharmacy aseptic, clinical trials and radiopharmacy facility. The new facility is expected to be in operation mid 2025.
The prime function of the unit is the preparation of cytotoxic, monoclonal antibodies and clinical trials in a safe and efficient manner according to Good Manufacturing Practice and National Standards. Our aim is to provide our valued staff with excellent training including Quality Assurance to become skilled, highly competent and confident in their job roles. We encourage innovative working which includes the development and future proofing of our facilities to meet the growing needs of the service. We promote learning and development within our organisation. We welcome applicants from Primary and Secondary care preferably with aseptic experience, but not essential as full training will be given.
