Let us introduce the role- Senior Delivery Specialist - Operations Transformation Working within Operations Transformation, the successful candidate will be required to form high-trust relationships with stakeholders and team members to foster adoption of new ways of working. In addition to supporting Operations Transformation, you will also support development of plans and delivery of Improvement activities within Technology Centres. You will work with a variety of teams to facilitate & coach to influence stakeholders and improve Business performance.,

  • Promote and embed new ways of working to eliminate waste, optimise workflow and continuously improve delivery performance and staff engagement across Operational areas (Technology Centres).
  • Work closely with and/or within Technology Centres to plan and progress delivery of Operations System Maturity Matrix Line Items and Project workstreams to meet agreed targets.
  • Work with the Technology Centres to ensure the Ops Transformation work is integrated into their objectives and improvement plans and is effectively deployed in line with these plans.
  • Plan and lead engagement sessions and relevant workshops/meetings as required to ensure stakeholder buy-in to Operations Transformation activities.
  • Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality and be a great team player., Maintain strong and positive stakeholder relationships to drive positive cultural shift, reporting on progress and seeking help where needed.
  • Ensure effective adoption, buy-in and deployment of the Operations System across the business area(s).
  • Coach Operational staff in the adoption and deployment of new ways of working and tools to improve operational performance and promote a problem-solving culture.
  • Actively seek out opportunities for AWE to improve its processes, systems and capabilities, with a focus on eliminating waste.
  • Support the Technology Centres in reporting the benefits and progress of Operations Transformation activities in line with the agreed plans, milestones and budget.
  • Engage with and influence the enabling functions to ensure effective development and deployment of Operating Standards and drive a cultural shift to becoming more delivery focussed.
  • The Company may require you to fulfil any other reasonable duties aligned to your position from time to time in line with business needs.

  • Whilst not to be considered a tick list, we'd like you to have experience in some of the following:
  • Experience of working within a Production or Operations environment to deliver improvements or change activities.
  • Has planned and led successful improvement activities, managing impacts on process, technology, information, governance and people/organisation.
  • Successful management of business change team activity across a change portfolio.
  • Application of Continuous Improvement tools and methodologies.
  • Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant technical or management discipline.
  • You'll need to have the ability to work calmly and constructively in a priority changing environment and be able to manage your own workload. You will also have initiative, enthusiasm, a flexible approach, and ability to work to tight deadlines.

    Package: £45,730 - £60,000 (depending on your suitability, qualifications, and level of experience),
