Full Job Description

The role is based on a Hybrid working arrangement, where the successful applicant will be required to attend and work from the ICB office in Telford.

Equipment will be provided to ensure the working at home element meets the needs of the role.

The required office-based attendance will be discussed with the successful applicant in order to meet business needs, however will be circa 1 day per week

During the training and induction period, office attendance is likely to be increased to support the successful applicant effectively, The Demand and Capacity Analyst supports the Business Intelligence and Analytics team and departments across the ICB. The post holder will be responsible for providing a clear picture of demand and capacity of services across STW using advanced modelling techniques.

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an inquisitive thinker to join the ICB's Business Intelligence and Analytics Team. We are looking for an individual who has the determination to truly understand demand and capacity for health & care services across NHS Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin. You will drive the delivery of a coordinated approach to demand and capacity modelling across the system working with ICB and wider system colleagues. This will involve the population and ongoing development of a system wide model which is directly fed by partners' individual organisational models. This will allow us to better understand our existing and future demand & capacity challenges,predict our medium-term requirements which in turn will inform our medium term financial planning and the strategic commissioning of services.

You will need excellent modelling and reasoning skills, be experienced in forecasting and statistical techniques with the ability to translate outputs into informative decision-making pieces of analysis.
