Full Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and organized Demand Manager to join our Information and Digital Services (IDS) team. The successful candidate will manage demand within the IDS department, ensuring alignment with the university's strategic objectives. The post holder/successful candidate will

  • Implement and manage a scalable demand management process.
  • Oversee the IDS worklist and maintain a comprehensive demand plan.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align IT resourcing with their requirements.
  • Monitor and report on demand trends, performance metrics, and resource utilization.
  • Manage the Jira platform for tracking and managing work within IDS.

    Educated to A level in a relevant subject, or relevant experience with evidence of professional training and development related to the role
  • Proven experience in demand management and strategic planning within an IT environment.
  • Proficiency in using Jira or similar project management tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities., Disability Confident
