Full Job Description

  • Leads team's global demand & supply plans and balances drug inventories. (Number of Direct Reports:4-10)

  • Leverage customers' forecasts, real-time patient enrollment data/trends, planning software (i.e. Trial Set-up & Planning).

  • Network capacity/utilization data.

  • Confirms plans are robust and optimizes global and regional supply strategies.

  • Solidifies connections between demand planning team and S&OP to align the latest forecast information is aggregated and coordinated into the divisional S&OP process

  • Develops, implements, and monitors appropriate performance metrics requirements.

  • Drive operational performance in cycle-time, cost, quality and risk mitigation.

  • Proactively makes adjustments to ensure business success

  • Partners with global and site project management teams and/or directly with the customer.

  • Advise and proactively share key client data vital to facilitate an effective supply chain planning cycle.

  • Leads and advocates a culture of proactive continuous process improvement.

  • Acts as an SME and actively participates in initiatives in support of the overall efficiency of the Client Services organization

  • Other duties may be assigned to meet the needs of the business

  • To foster a sense of belonging and connection, remote employees are expected to keep their camera on and participate in video calls both internally and externally, as appropriate.

    Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business/operations management (equivalent work experience may be considered)


  • Years of Experience:
  • 5 years of supply chain and/or planning experience managing global supply chain design and logistics management, preferably as they relate to clinical program design and execution

  • 3+ years proven experience with direct customer engagement in a customer-facing role with 3+ years of management experience


  • Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Understanding of clinical supply requirements, phases of clinical development, and the factors that influence study designs preferred.

  • Ability to apply sophisticated supply chain concepts and techniques.

  • Travel required (perhaps as much as 10-15%). International travel may also be required.

    Compensation and Benefits

    The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $92,900.00-$130,000.00.
