Full Job Description

We are thrilled to be seeking a Demi Chef de Partie - Dim Sum for Canton Blue restaurant who will be responsible for participating in all aspects of the department day-to-day operations and for ensuring that hotel standards and guidelines are followed and maintained continuously.,

  • Promote The Peninsula London to becoming a recognized culinary destination by creating memorable guest experiences through friendly, yet unobtrusive service with a passion for excellence.
  • Handle Dim Sum and Canton Blue's desserts with great consistency at the assigned service position and handle VIP's orders in person
  • Understand the menus and all food and beverage items ordered, including ingredients, methods of preparation, and appropriate style of service.
  • Produce all food required for the assigned section at the highest standard.
  • Ensure personnel, physical and environmental hygiene is maintained in adherence to HACCP.
  • Always keep the kitchen equipment in pristine condition to maximise its operating life.

    Good Cantonese cuisine experience and understanding of current culinary trends and classics.
  • Experience of a similar role in a Cantonese restaurant or luxury 5 hotel.
  • Previous relevant culinary qualifications or certifications.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, highly adaptable, naturally positive.
  • Good communication skills, flexibility, and capability of working under pressure.
