Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Legal and Governance for a permanent full-time role as our Electoral Services Team Manager to manage and deliver all aspects of electoral registration and elections administration for the Council, meeting the standards set by the Returning Officer, Electoral Commission and Cabinet Office
We are seeking a highly organised, flexible individual with significant experience of working in elections teams and a track record of high performance in a demanding role. Experience of working in a political environment is vital. You will need to be flexible and proactive. Workloads vary throughout the year, and you will need to be able to remain calm and confident under pressure and meet tight deadlines sometimes at unsociable hours. You will need to remain politically impartial in your dealings with politicians and the public.
