Ideally the candidate should have established and demonstrable skills in the provision of oral health care for children and adults with special needs. Ideally the candidate will also have experience of domiciliary dentistry, dental screening and dental epidemiological fieldwork. Candidates who have worked in General Dental Services and have an interest in paediatric or special care dentistry will also be considered.
The dental team is friendly and supportive and consists of a senior dental officer, dental officers, therapists, dental nurses, a receptionist and an oral health promotion team. The Bolton team cover GA lists at Royal Bolton Hospital, along with clinics at Leigh & Pemberton Health Centres and Prestwich Mental Health Hospital Dental Department., Flexible working will be considered for all roles.
