Full Job Description

+ Oversight and responsibility for the maintenance and updating of procedural documentation, directly pertinent to the clerical staff base.
+ Deal with telephone and other media enquiries from all staff groups and service users in a tactful, polite and courteous manner, bringing urgent matters to the attention of team members, managers and Consultants.
+ Provide a flexible administrative support service across the department as required.
+ Communicate effectively with the use of tact and diplomacy and seek to overcome barriers to effective communication. This may require the use of multiple communication methods, such as email and telephone.
+ Undertake computer duties that include relevant electronic Trust and Microsoft systems.
+ Maintain good IT skills and carry out keyboard work for long periods where there may be regular queries and interruptions from service users and team members.
