Full Job Description

This post offers an opportunity to an individual to work within the Medical Records Department in Prince Charles Hospital at a Supervisory level, to ensure the smooth, efficient organisation of the Medical Records Department. The successful candidate will work alongside and in partnership with other Departmental Supervisor but will form part of the supervisory team of the Medical Records Department within the Health Board. The successful person will also provide support to the Medical Records Manager and Deputy Manager.

This post will be worked Monday - Friday

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the Medical Records Team provide a full clerical service for Outpatient Clinics.

Ensure the day to day organisation of outpatient clinics , ensuring correct and up to date case notes are available for all clinic appointments.

Ensure the accurate and speedy filing of all case notes, retrieval.

Ensuring there is a well trained workforce.

Support the Medical Records Manager and Deputy Manager.

Excellent keyboard and communication skills are required for this role., The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
