Depot Planner

Great opportunity tojoin our distribution and logistics team at our Portbury Depot asLogistics Planner. You will be joining the team that keep ournetwork running, ensuring we deliver an exceptional level ofservice to our customers. You'll be responsiblefor making sure all routes are optimised so that operationaltargets are achieved your amazing planning and organisationalskills will be critical to your success. With no two days the same,you will need to be able to adapt accordingly and deal withunexpected issues as they arise, ensuring that all stakeholders arecommunicated with in an effective and timely manner. As you wouldexpect within logistics, this is a deadline driven role where youwill need to balance the needs of drivers, customers, and accountmanagers staying calm and focused to get the job done. Workingclosely with depot operational colleagues, you will also review andrefine delivery schedules to ensure maximum efficiency and analysedata from a variety of systems and sources to identify areas forfuture improvements. To join us in this role youwill will enjoy working with data sets and will have a keen eye fordetail. You will have a good understanding of driver working timeand be confident using Computer systems such as Roadnet ourTransportation Management System (TMS), Microsoft Excel. plusexperience of SAP would be an advantage but is not essential.You'll have an enthusiastic, can-do attitude, using your experienceand logical thinking to overcome challenges as they arise to ensurea positive outcome.
