Full Job Description

To direct, control and monitor all site functions and engineers to ensure the completion of all daily functions fully, safely and accurately in compliance with the company H&S procedures and Working Procedures and to maintain the team relationship with the operations and transport departments.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00 with hour hour lunch daily

Tasks include:

  • Manage, train, provide performance feedback and assign duties of direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness

  • Work alongside various teams within the depot including (but not limited to) engineering, stock office, administrative, custodial, warehouse, training, HR and operations.

  • Knowledge and understanding of external and internal auditing procedures and the ability to monitor processes to ensure site is audit ready at all times

  • Control and monitor reports of site wide KPI's

  • Internal and external audit preparation

  • Resolve day-to-day customer service problems including data entry errors, customer complaints, and questions

  • Work with Operations Manager to ensure information flow with the warehouse is efficient; to include on-time turn for trucks, accurate receipt, and shipment of goods

  • Handle record management/retention for bill of ladings, proof of deliveries, invoices, and accounting credits

  • Enhance office productivity through proficient use of resources and tools

    Previous demonstrated experience working in a similar role i.e. depot support or operations

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organisation

  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office

  • Ability to read, analyse, and interpret company policies, procedures, and agreements

  • Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload

  • Strong conflict management skills, including those involving sensitive and complex matters

  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
