Come and join the Sense Team where we are looking for a passionate and motivated Deputy Manager to work at our fantastic Supported Living Service in Stockport.

Sense Stockport Supported Living Service is a block of 12 purpose-built apartments offering specialist accommodation for people with learning disabilities or autism, to promote independence and enable them to develop life skills, with on-site 24-hour support and 1 to 1 support sessions. The service is in a lovely residential area within walking distance to Stockport Town Centre and benefits from having shops nearby., As a Deputy Care Manager, you will provide a customised, responsive, and high-quality service to people with complex disabilities including sensory impairments. You will be a frontline supervisor, supporting the manager to effectively manage a team of staff to deliver person centered, specialist services., Supporting the manager in providing line management support to a team of staff
Creating and maintaining safe working environments in which staff can fulfil their duties.
Contributing to the wider planning and delivery of services within the Operational Services
Conduct regular supervisions.
Plan and manage the rota.
Delivering services to KPIs set within the Operational Services

Experience of supervision and development of staff teams
Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care desirable
Have a Full UK license desirable
Previous experience in the management of services and understand the legislation and requirements that governs us from CQC.
Knowledge of multi-sensory impairments / learning difficulties is beneficial.

This is a permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week with a salary of £28,334 per annum., 32 days of annual leave including Bank Holidays pro rata
