Full Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic leader to join us as our Deputy CEO to work alongside the CEO and COO to develop a compelling educational vision for our organisation and share responsibility for the overall performance of our trust., As a member of the Executive Team, the successful candidate will help to define and lead the trust's strategic direction, and secure high performance in all aspects of CLF life. Reporting to the CEO, the Deputy CEO is accountable for the quality of educational provision across all phases and all types of educational setting, while setting the educational philosophy, strategy and the direction of the trust, securing its mission and upholding the HEART values. The Deputy CEO will be charged with leading the Education Executive Team to focus on raising and sustaining standards and on securing high-performing education provision. Whilst the Deputy CEO ultimately holds responsibility for all academies and provisions, this is led through others with direct line management of the Education Directors, who oversee the line management of Executive Principals, Senior Principals and Principals. Other key responsibilities will include linking with governance leaders to ensure high quality trust and academy governance, creating and developing networks to support the growth of leadership expertise, and working beyond the trust to enhance the sector and grow the reputation of the CLF. At all times, the Deputy CEO is expected to be responsive and responsible, provide support in times of challenge, and model exemplary professional behaviours in line with trust values.

The Cabot Learning Federation (CLF) is a diverse West Country multi-academy trust which is home to 35 schools operating in five clusters in Bristol, Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset and Somerset.
