Deputy Chief Operating Officer

Woodrow Mercer Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Deputy Chief Operating Officer to support a trust based in the South. This role would be working onsite, Inside IR35 for a 6 months contract.

The post is responsible for all aspects of service provision including planned and emergency surgery, critical care, theatres and anaesthetics, cancer, acute and emergency medicine, diagnostics, Woman's services, MSK services, Capacity and Flow and Emergency Planning.

The post holder is responsible for supporting the divisional teams with the day to day operational management and delivery of performance across clinical specialties services.

Specifically the post holder will be accountable for providing high level operational leadership and planning, ensuring safe, high quality and efficient delivery of the day to day operational management of the Trust, which meets the needs of patients, achieves set and agreed standards and financial targets.

The post holder will work across planned and unplanned components of service delivery specifically focusing on issues needing the greatest level of support.
