Full Job Description
The Deputy Clinical Director for AMR will be accountable to the Clinical Director for AMR for the performance of the directorate. This is a key operational role within the Division and the post holder will work with the Clinical Director to lead and be accountable for ensuring services are patient focused and effective and for achieving national and local key performance indicators and standards., The post holder will provide visible leadership to all staff within the directorate and support the Clinical Director in delivering the strategic plan for the Division. The post holder will work with the Divisional Director and the Divisional Management Team to ensure the services within the Clinical Directorate meet the required objectives. The Deputy Clinical Director will lead a Directorate triumvirate including the Deputy Directorate Managers and Directorate Matrons supported by the Clinical Director and the Directorate Manager. This team will deliver on the Directorate priorities in conjunction with respective Service Leads, nursing, administration and Allied Health Professional colleagues., The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
