Full Job Description

· Ensure Key Performance Indicators are regularly met for all services within division · Oversight on Safety and Quality indicators for all services to ensure they are regularly met in collaboration with Medical Professional Leads · Supporting patient flow by having oversight on bed flow services, clinically ready for discharge patients, complex long-stay patients, supporting consultants to seek second opinions, supporting complex case meetings · Supporting Medical Professional Leads to ensure supportive management of leave and appropriate cross-cover to ensure maintenance of continuity of care · Supporting Medical Professional Leads in ongoing medical recruitment · Attending relevant divisional management meetings, · Weekly review of performance and quality data with service managers, clinical matrons and consultants · Oversight of timely response to PALS concerns and complaints · Deputising Clinical Director when needed representing division in Trust-wide meetings.

  • Primary Medical Degree
  • Full registration with the GMC and license to practice
  • Desirable criteria
  • MRCPsych (or equivalent - as evidenced by inclusions on the Specialist Register if trained overseas)
  • Project Management experience
  • Training as an investigator, Sufficient experience as a consultant (minimum 3 year).
  • Managing time and ensuring deadlines are met
