Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed Theatre Practitioner to undertake the role of Deputy Clinical Lead for Trauma and Orthopaedic within the scrub speciality at Main Theatres, Princess of Wales Hospital. This is a pivotal role in our Theatre Management structure to provide support and leadership to the team and to drive forward innovative service change in partnership with the Multidisciplinary Team.
This position is advertised as Fixed Term for 12 Months for Maternity Cover., The post holder is expected to be an excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills and a wide knowledge of Trauma and Elective Orthopaedic services. You will work in collaboration with a fellow Deputy Clinical lead and dynamic Practitioner team. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual with inspirational leadership skills and an appetite for clinical theatre work, developing staff and delivery of safe and excellent care. The post holder will work in close conjunction with the Clinical Leads, providing advice, support and leadership.
You will be required to demonstrable success in a management and a clinical role and provide evidence of your credibility and capability during the interview process. You must be able to motivate and engage others to ensure that the services we provide supports the HB values, as well as having a pioneering approach that is not afraid to challenge convention and traditional ways of working.
