Deputy Curriculum Leader English & Literacy

Salary: Mains/Upper Scale (Inner London) + TLR2b

We have the exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with experienced staff in a high quality and well-resourced environment in the role of Deputy Curriculum Leader - English & Literacy. We are based in West London/Ealing. This position is to commence is soon as possible; however we are willing to wait for the right candidate.

Skills & Experience needed:

· The role of Deputy Curriculum Leader - English & Literacy requires you to contribute to the effective leadership of the curriculum area, monitoring of standards of performance and teaching and learning; and to develop and enhance the teaching practice of others.

· Applicants must possess a suitable degree and UK recognised teaching qualification (i.e. QTS, PGCE)

· Experience and demonstrable success within English

· Strong leadership, management and sound administrative skills

· Ability to enthuse and effectively communicate your subject to students both written and orally
