Deputy Director of Strategic Finance

The post holder is responsible for supporting the delivery of all aspects of the Strategic Financial Planning agenda within finance and the wider QVH Trust. The post holder will also provide management and day to day support in all aspects of the Strategic Financial Planning, whilst maintaining a team ethic within the wider Finance and Procurement division. The post holder will provide portfolio management of Programmes and Projects being delivered by the Trust. The individual will also be key in the Trusts capital accounting, investment appraisals, cost improvement programme, financial modelling, and business case development. They will be key in the delivery of high quality strategic planning advice to the Trust executive and non-executive teams., The key duties of the roles are:

Provide strategic financial planning leadership to the Trust

Support the development of the medium and long term financial plan

Validate the benefits of major projects and support their implementation

Work with project teams on the development of major business cases and the capital cases

Responsible for coordinating and validating capital spend

Work on the monitoring and reporting of the Trust efficiency programme.
