DEPUTY FINANCE MANAGER

Salary Grade 8 - 9, Scale Range 26 - 30

£37,584 - £40,974, depending on experience and skills (April 2023 NJC Scale)

Full-Time, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm

(including school holidays)

We are seeking to appoint a full-time, enthusiastic and well-qualified Deputy Finance Manager to form part of the Finance team. Working closely with and supporting the Director of Finance in managing the school's finance systems & processes and in providing technical financial support to staff and students in the school, ensuring that all financial transactions are conducted with probity and that value for money principles are applied. The current post has arisen due to the retirement of a very longstanding post-holder.

The successful candidate will possess experience of working in a school finance office and/or business office, with relevant technical financial and accounting experience. A flexible and adaptable approach to working with staff and students and the ability to manage their own substantial workload to meet challenging deadlines will be required.
