Full Job Description

Would you like the opportunity to work as part of a team of highly experienced and ambitious colleagues?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and, ideally, experienced candidate to join us and take on responsibility for the provision of first aid services for our students and staff. Experience is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate, which will include a three-day formal first aid training course to obtain the First Aid at Work certificate.

Our Medical House provides for staff and students needing support when they are unwell, as well as for those who may injure themselves whilst on site. The role involves the provision of a range of first-aid services and liaison with parents, as well as liaison with the School Nurse and other health providers. It is a very supportive environment with a team of qualified first aiders working alongside the Principal and Deputy First Aider to ensure the delivery of comprehensive services across the age range and across our large and attractive school site.

To be successful, you will have excellent communication, organisational and time-management skills and be competent in using ICT. Previous experience within a secondary school setting is also desirable.

This is a part-time role for 22.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, during school hours and term time only.

Graveney is an extremely popular and successful 11-18 School situated in Tooting, SW17 on a pleasant site with excellent facilities. We have a commitment to providing the best opportunities to all students and to developing the professional skills and career opportunities of staff.
