Full Job Description
The Council is looking for a professional, enthusiastic, and organised Deputy Front of House Manager to ensure the smooth, efficient day to day running of the Spotlight and give a friendly, welcoming, and accessible service to all visitors., You should have experience of dealing directly with the public in a fast-paced environment. You will be able to exercise initiative, take personal responsibility and resolve issues independently. There is also an element of flexibility, assisting other departments in The Spotlight when required.
Applicants should have excellent interpersonal and good written communication skills, a high level of IT literacy (MS Office), and the ability to maintain systems and records. Candidates will need to demonstrate knowledge of health & safety, an interest in the arts and leisure industry and an enthusiasm for working in a socially engaging and culturally diverse environment. The following experience and skills are also essential for this role:
- Excellent proven customer care skills
- Flexibility in relation to duties and working hours which will include evenings and weekends.
- First Aid at work training (essential: we will provide training if necessary)
- Fire Marshal training (essential: we will provide training if necessary)
- Strong logistical skills.
