Deputy General Manager

As the Deputy General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the hotel's entire operation, including Events, Food and Beverage, Front Office, Housekeeping, and the Kitchen. Working closely with the General Manager, you will ensure that every aspect of the hotel runs smoothly and efficiently, maintaining our high standards and exceeding guest expectations.,

• Oversee the daily operations of the hotel to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Manage profit and loss, revenue management, and cost control to optimise financial performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, ensuring their needs are met and expectations surpassed.
• Ensure team member welfare and foster strong team relationships through effective people management.
• Comply with statutory and legal requirements for fire, hygiene, health and safety, licensing, and employment law, ensuring all managers are informed and compliant.
• Attend key meetings in the absence of the General Manager, including General Managers, Operations, and Head of Departments meetings.
• Assist with recruitment, training, and development to ensure the team reaches its full potential and delivers exceptional customer service.
  
  Previous experience as a Hotel Manager or Deputy General Manager in a high-end operation.
• Hands-on approach with the ability to assist in daily operations.
• Ability to thrive under pressure in a busy environment.
• Excellent customer service skills and strong communication abilities.
• Genuine passion for the hospitality industry with a drive to advance the hotel's success.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills to inspire and lead a diverse team.
• High level of understanding of current hospitality trends and competitor awareness.
