Full Job Description

We are looking for someone to lead and manage a team of permanent and temporary staff, providing a 7-day, 52-week service to ensure the maintenance and management of student accommodation and the residents therein. The role also currently leads and manages the Student Life Team, ensuring the appropriate use of resources to provide events and activities for the benefit of the student residents.

There will be an element of budget management related to the day to day running and ongoing maintenance (short and long term projects) of the building, brining specialist expertise and ensuring coordination across multiple teams meeting key priorities and to the required timescales.

There will be a requirement to proactively develop the service, delivering high quality to satisfy the expectations of student residents. Collaborating with other senior managers of the department and wider university to ensure continuous improvement.

You will have breadth and depth of experience in a professional service in a large complex organisation (e.g. Higher Education) and can show full working knowledge and proficiency of Accommodation Management.

You will have specialist expertise and knowledge within the area of Accommodation Management.

You will have experience of analysing and interpreting data, drafting complex reports and delivering briefings to others.

You will have leadership and management experience in a service delivery environment, showing evidence of motivating and supporting your team to achieve objectives., Disability Confident

This is a full-time, permanent post, working 37 hours per week. Please note in the job description that there is a requirement to work some hours at weekends and after 5:00pm.
