As Deputy Head of the Colleague Representation Forum, you will support the Head of the Colleague Representative Forum, providing informed colleague insight that's helps shape business outcomes that work for customers and colleagues. You will work as part of a job-share with our other Deputy Head who also works a 3-day week, with one cross-over day. - Ensure we have a representative body engaged at all levels of the organisation, driving better informed and more engaged opinions.
- Act as the Colleague Representative Forum secondary contact point for business.
- Support the Colleague Representative Forum to function effectively and evolve in line with changing business circumstances.
- Support the development and delivery of the Colleague Representative Forum strategy, including Communication channels and plans.
- Assist and lead on specific CRF projects & consultations providing appropriate analysis of colleague feedback, highlighting themes, priorities, and concerns for discussion.
- Mentor and support the development of the Lead representatives providing on-going development.
- Work in partnership with the People Team, business areas and colleague networks as appropriate to bring a colleague perspective to planned changes and initiatives.
- Maintain stakeholder networks and engaging with external organisations (e.g. Involvement and Participation Association, Alliance for Finance, legal support).
- Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships including at senior levels and externally.
Understanding and/or experience of colleague representation forums and responsibilities - Up to date understanding of topics that influence the colleague work experience e.g. employment law, diversity, and inclusion.
- Experience of supporting formal individual and collective consultations.
- Employer relations background experience desirable. Skills:

- Able to build and maintain effective relationships.
- Collaborative - able to work with diverse groups to achieve outcomes even in emotionally charged situations.
- Good influencer, and comfortable to actively listen, engage and challenge constructively at all levels.
