Full Job Description

Are you passionate about patient safety? Do you want to be part of a dedicated and motivated team striving for excellence and driving Health Board-wide improvements and initiatives? If so, you will be excited to see this new role within the corporate Patient Safety and Quality team., The successful candidate will support the Clinical Board and Directorate Management teams, and work closely with clinical teams, supporting them to deliver their patient safety priorities. A large part of the role will be ensuring that learning and improvements occur from patient safety incidents with the aim of reducing future risk and helping make care safer, whilst ensuring that patients, their families, and staff are supported.

The post holder will also lead the Clinical Audit and Quality Assurance team, focusing on learning and improving from local and national audits and NICE guidance. They will provide a senior manager lead for clinical risk and patient safety across the UHB, offering support and guidance to all levels of staff working within the organisation.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
