Full Job Description

We are currently looking for an exceptional Deputy Headteacher to join our leadership team at Aveley Primary School. We are an Ofsted good school (June 2023) and part of Catalyst Academies Trust, a small, local trust and one of the highest performing in the country. The school is an active part of the Teach Thurrock Primary Partnership, supporting teachers during their training, supporting students in our schools.

We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious individual to develop as a senior leader and take the next step towards headship. Along with other members of the senior leadership team, the Deputy Headteacher will be centrally involved in the management of the school and will be responsible for raising standards, instilling high expectations for all and helping to establish a culture that is nurturing and rigorous. They will also play an important part in the team, working with Headteachers and Deputies from the other 4 schools to moderate, review and improve teaching and learning across the Trust.
