Full Job Description

This 11-18 City Technology College with an enrolment of 1540 students is seeking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher to replace a previous incumbent who was promoted to Headship. Sixteen Deputy Heads have progressed to Headship in the last fifteen years.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to serve on the Senior Management Team of one of the top performing schools in the country. The facilities are extensive and maintained at an exceptional level.

The successful candidate will have relevant senior experience and qualifications in secondary education, along with a track record of raising achievement and an ability to lead professional staff who are dedicated to meeting the academic and pastoral needs of students. They will lead our efforts in shaping the next generation of educators through comprehensive training programs, mentorship, and professional development opportunities. They will also work with schools in the Thomas Telford Multi Academy Trust, providing support and intervention as needed.
