The successful candidate will jointly lead the school, ensuring knowledge sticks and promoting learning that is authentic and that connects with the world beyond the classroom. A commitment to developing learners' agency and independence is vital.

We have a strong belief that education is about more than great exam results. Whilst achieving excellent outcomes at Key Stage Four is vital - we place equal importance on the provision of our arts curriculum, the development of our outdoor learning provision at Key Stage Three and cross-curricular project based learning that engages our local community.

The specific responsibilities will be agreed following the appointment. We wish to keep the responsibilities of the new Deputy Headteacher open to allow us to appoint the right candidate. We wish to appoint a new Deputy Headteacher who has the ambition to be a Headteacher within the next three to four years.

Interested colleagues should complete the application form and submit, with a letter of application to outline how your experiences to date prepare you for this role. In addition to this, please outline how a 'Trivium' approach to education can prepare learners both for their exams in Year 11 and for their life beyond school.

Please note that CVs and late applications will not be accepted.
