Full Job Description

After almost a decade of stable leadership, a rare and exciting opportunity to join the Senior Leadership Team at Hadlow has arisen.
We are looking for a dynamic and inspiring practitioner who will join the team as Deputy Headteacher, modelling excellent teaching within Year 1, whilst leading effective, whole school improvement.
The successful candidate will work alongside the Headteacher to steer the strategic aims and objectives of the school; further improving the quality of the curriculum, behaviour and attitudes and personal development opportunities for all pupils, including those in the EYFS.
The Deputy Headteacher, under the direction of the Headteacher, will take a major role in:
+ Formulating the aims and objectives of Hadlow Primary School
+ Establishing policies for achieving these aims and objectives
+ Managing staff and resources
+ Monitoring progress towards the achievement aims and objectives of Hadlow Primary School
The Deputy Headteacher will have a timetabled teaching commitment of 60%; they must comply with the Teachers' Standards and model best practice for others.
The successful candidate will:
