Deputy Home Manager (Residential Care)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Home Manager to play a key role in overseeing the operations of our client's residential care home focused on supporting a small number of adults with autism. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of their residents and contribute to a nurturing and inclusive environment.,

• Collaborate with the Home Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support services to residents with autism


• Assist in the overall management of the facility, including staffing, budgeting, and regulatory compliance


• Oversee the training and development of care staff to ensure they are equipped to provide person-centered care for individuals with diverse needs


• Foster a positive and inclusive environment within the home, promoting independence and wellbeing for residents


• Act as a liaison between residents, their families, and external agencies to ensure effective communication and holistic support
  
  Level 3 in Health and Social Care of above


• Proven experience in a leadership or deputy management role within a residential care setting


• Knowledge and understanding of autism, as well as best practices for supporting individuals with diverse needs


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and staff
