Full Job Description

We are looking for a Cleaning Deputy Manager to Support the Account Lead in managing a large transport contract based at St Pancras with travel to Ebbsfleet, Stratford, and Singlewell. You will manage a team of 4 Duty Managers to ensure cleaning standards are met and maintained to the highest level. No two days will be the same. When you're dealing with people there's never a dull moment, and you'll use your strong interpersonal skills to support and develop your team., As Cleaning Deputy Manager, you'll be:

  • Directly managing Duty Managers within the account to ensure cleaning standards are met and maintained to the highest level.
  • Ensuring development, support, mentoring and effective performance is proactively and efficiently managed for the direct reports, in line with company standards.
  • Carrying out ad-hoc and regular activity such as projects, reports, audits as required and to support the Account Lead.
  • Managing key (high profile/value) accounts within the operating region to including, managing staffing level, subcontracts, training staff in Health & Safety and update records.
  • Ensuring that all contractual KPI's are achieved.

  • Previous client management and people management skills
  • Working knowledge of Health and Safety systems in the cleaning industry with the ability to train staff,
  • Computer literate with the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office package and databases.
  • Able to drive / travel to different sites where required.
  • Able and willing to work unsocial hours as necessary.
  • NEBOSH qualification
  • A satisfactory Enhanced DBS disclosure
  • Full, clean driving license - Desirable

    Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 depending on experience.
  • Friday & Saturday - 22.15 - 06.45
  • Sunday & Monday - Off
  • Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday - 8 hours, flexible to suit business needs
