Full Job Description

Assessment Centres are fast paced services where people are referred in, usually from the street, and rapidly referred on to appropriate longer term accommodation. The services are short stay, and staff provide wrap around support and liaison with several external partners, including physical health, mental health, substance use and housing. Staffed 24 hours to ensure this quick turnaround, they are a key service to ensure people are off the streets and in stable accommodation.

We will not accept applications where Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been used to assist with completing the competency questions.

You will:

-Be responsible for directly managing the staff team and overseeing the day to day management of a fast paced assessment centre
-Deputise for the Lead Manager in their absence
-Report incidents to senior management and commissioners and ensure staff are aware of and working to health and safety guidelines
-Develop and foster a culture of high performance and continual striving to improve upon successes throughout your team
-Develop and manage partnerships with key agencies across London and the UK
-Ensure that the locality is well managed and relationships with the centre's neighbours are strong
