Full Job Description

Working closely with our Executive Medical Director, we are seeking an innovative clinical leader for this role to join our existing Deputy Medical Director. The Deputy Medical Director will have one of two corporate portfolios as agreed with the Medical Director to reflect their experience and aspiration. You will work with the other Executive Directors and their deputies to deliver the relevant areas of the portfolio. In addition, it is expected that the postholder will deliver clinical work in their specialty area. This will be discussed with the successful candidate and the relevant specialty.

Ideally, you will have experience of delivering sustained change within and beyond your specialism. You will be an ambitious individual who thrives in a dynamic environment, and a skilled communicator with the personal qualities and credibility that will inspire our dedicated medicalworkforce. You will be a highly visible senior medical leader with drive, ambition, strong leadership and collaborative working skills. As a systemconnector and innovator, we are playing a leading role in our local system Bradford District and Craven.We are also part of the West Yorkshireand Harrogate ICS and WYAAT Acute Trusts.
