Full Job Description

We are looking for an inspiring and experienced Deputy Medical Director - Urgent Care to join our leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of urgent care services within the Severnside Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) service. In this role, youwill be at the forefront of ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate care, while also contributing to the development of our services., Reporting to the Medical Director, you will be responsible for providing medical leadership across a range of services, including traditional Out-of-Hours, plus frailty, paediatric, and mental health, and more. You will work closely with senior leaders to oversee the clinical governance of Severnside, drive service innovation, and represent BrisDoc in key external partnerships.

Key responsibilities include:o Medical Leadership: Providing oversight to ensure high-quality, patient-centred careo Collaboration: Working closely with senior colleagues to support service innovation and performanceo Clinical Activity and Engagement: Undertaking clinical shifts within Severnside, adhering to evidence-based practiceso Stakeholder Engagement: Representing Severnside in external partnerships and maintaining strong relationships across the health and social care systemo Governance and Compliance: Supporting clinical governance and, together with the Director of Nursing, Allied Health Professionals and Governance, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards
