Deputy Medical Director - Research and Development

The post holder will be accountable for the clinical leadership in relation to researchand innovation in the Trust.

Up to 6 substantive clinical PAs could also be available to enable the post to be full-time. Appropriate funding approval will be sought and confirmed once specialties of applicants known. The R&D role is renewable on a 3 yearly basis.

Please give an indication in your application of whether you wish to work any clinical PAs in the Trust in addition to the 4 sessions for the Deputy Director of R&D role and which specialty., The post holder will lead the Management Team to provide Trust-wide clinical leadership for research; in particular liaising with internal and external stakeholders to raise awareness, participation and multi-professional engagement with high-quality clinical research across the organisation.
