We are recruiting for a Deputy Medical Workforce Manager who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients. The role is intense, so we are looking for dynamic hard worker with a customer focused attitude, In the context of the national landscape with industrial action, we are looking for someone who can work openly with our medical workforce to maintain the great relationship we have with our medical workforce. Ideally you will have some rota and job planning knowledge, line management experience and have knowledge of our recruitment system, TRAC, or a similar system, you'll be familiar with the August rotation processes and best practice in this area. You will have great customer service skills, with a passion to providing both managers and service users a great employee experience. This post is a key role in the management and successful delivery of the People strategy within the Trust. You will have freedom to act within the framework of existing policies and procedures, using their own initiative and taking advice when required. The Deputy Medical Workforce Manager will work in partnership with colleagues to ensure that the team provide an efficient and proactive service to all managers, staff and prospective candidates, as well as ensuring that the team members are developed, engaged and motivated to deliver a high quality service at all times. You will be required to be knowledgeable and able to work across all the key areas of responsibility in both teams to ensure that cross cover is provided as necessary. In this role you will play a key role in ensuring team activities that are innovative, forward thinking and are delivered in line with best practice and legislation. You will Lead on the Health Education East Recruitment and be first point of contact to the Medical Resourcing Team.
