Deputy NEC4 Supervisor

• To assist and support the NEC4 Supervisor whilst the construction, completion and maintenance activities for a road infrastructure contract are being carried out. Key tasks as follows:
• To support the Supervisor with the management and administration of construction contracts and to deputise for the Supervisor during periods agreed with the Employer.
• To monitor construction activities and where applicable notify Defects to the Contractor, oversee the correction of such notified Defects, and report construction progress to the Supervisor., Chartered Civil Engineer or hold a similarly appropriate chartered (or equivalent) professional qualification with relevant experience of undertaking a similar role on major road infrastructure projects of similar scale and complexity. Where a chartered professional qualification is not held, a member of staff with extensive and demonstratable experience in the provision and performance of similar services on projects of similar scale and complexity may be considered.
• Working towards achieving NEC4 Supervisor Accreditation (NECReg) and/or NEC4 Project Manager Accreditation.
• Experience in supervising and/or monitoring Contractors' activities and monitoring Contractors' quality systems as well as notifying Defects or Non Conformity Reports (NCRs) and overseeing the correction of such notified Defects/NCRs by the Contractor.
• Experience in deputising for the Supervisor or a similar equivalent role, such as Engineer's Representative, on other construction contracts.
