Work closely with the Nurse Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing department within the care home

Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff to ensure high-quality care for residents

Participate in developing and implementing care plans and treatment protocols tailored to the needs of our residents

Conduct regular assessments of resident care and outcomes, ensuring individual needs are met

Assist in recruiting, training, and evaluating nursing staff within the care home

Ensure compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards related to care provision

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote high-quality and resident-centred care

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Deputy Nurse Manager to join our client's thriving care home, which offers, nursing, and specialist dementia care. With a Good CQC rating, as a Deputy Nurse Manager will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to residents. They need a compassionate leader with strong clinical skills to support and mentor their nursing staff., RGN (Registered General Nurse) or RMN (Registered Mental Health Nurse) qualification, with an active UK NMC pin

Demonstrated experience in a deputy nurse manager role within a care home setting

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for resident and staff interactions

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and make decisions in a fast-paced care home environment

Understanding of and commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion in healthcare within a care home context
