- Onsite parking As the Deputy Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Working collaboratively with the Nursery Manager to ensure the seamless day-to-day operations of the nursery, prioritizing the delivery of high-quality care and education in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Mentoring and leading the nursery staff, providing guidance, motivation, and support to ensure the maintenance of exceptional standards of care and professionalism.
- Efficiently managing resources and staff schedules to optimize the effectiveness of the nursery's operations while upholding the highest levels of quality and service.
- Cultivating strong, transparent communication and partnership with parents and carers to establish trust and actively support the developmental journey of the children.
- Playing a pivotal role in staff recruitment, training, and performance management to cultivate a skilled and highly motivated team.
- Contributing to the creation and implementation of nursery policies and procedures to craft a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for the children's growth and development.
- Upholding an unwavering commitment to health and safety standards and safeguarding practices at all times, ensuring the well-being of all children and staff.
Level 3 qualification in Early Years or above. - Minimum 2 years' experience in a leadership role within a nursery setting to demonstrate sound leadership and operational proficiency.
- Comprehensive understanding of the EYFS framework and robust knowledge of safeguarding practices.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team to achieve their best while delivering outstanding outcomes.
- Dedicated to meeting regulatory requirements and maintaining superior standards, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
