Full Job Description
The Deputy Operational Business Manager is a full time position reporting to the Operational Business Manager. The post holder will be responsible for the operational management of a range of clinical services. The Deputy Operational Business Manager is responsible for the delivery of national and local access and quality standards, service development, complaint management and delivery of Income and Cost Improvement Programmes. The post holder will be expected to exercise initiative, prioritise conflicting work demands and communicate effectively with the multi-disciplinary team, as well as internal and external departments, to deliver the highest quality of care for our patients. The post holder will lead on delivery of national and local standards and will lead on projects to improve service delivery and patient experience. They will be required to lead on key areas of performance and activity including data management, coding and financial monitoring. The post holder will need to problem solve as appropriate, and develop and implement sustainable solutions in conjunction with clinical and administrative colleagues.
