Full Job Description

The University is looking to appoint an experienced Deputy Payroll and Pensions Manager to support its dynamic Payroll Team within the Finance Directorate. The ideal candidate will have expertise in interpreting payroll regulations and a strong ability to stay updated with changes in taxation, pensions, and national insurance legislation.
We are seeking a candidate with extensive payroll experience to support our Payroll and Pensions Manager and Payroll Team, and while experience in the UK higher education sector is desirable, it is not essential. A solid foundation in payroll and pension processes and excellent communication skills are required to effectively support the team and ensure the smooth operation of payroll functions.
