To support our all Wales service, we particularly welcome applications from Welsh speakers., Each part of our organisation plays a huge part in contributing to the seven priorities of our Strategic Plan, and as part of our contribution, Breast Test Wales, the Breast Screening team, is looking for a highly motivated, qualified imaging professional with a strong demonstrable background in clinical and operational management to join its experienced, longstanding team in North Wales as Deputy Radiography Manager., The South East Region has a static centre in Cardiff, which has screening and assessment clinic facilities. The post will involve travelling to and working on mobile units and there will be occasional requirement for overnight stays. The South East Region operates 6 Mobile Screening Units which provide breast screening to eligible women in their local area.
The post is exempt under Section 7(2) (b) of the Sex Discrimination Act 1975 and due to the nature of the role only females should apply.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

The salary scale shown is for a full-time member of staff, with the amount being adjusted pro rata for those working less than 37.5 hours per week.
In general, anyone joining our Trust who has not previously worked in the NHS will, by default, start on the first point of the advertised pay band. Pay progression will then be determined by annual Performance and Development Reviews in accordance with the NHS Wales Pay Progression Policy. An application for Incremental Credit may be considered, but can only be awarded based on evidenced, reckonable service and/or equivalent, relevant experience.
