Full Job Description

We are looking to employ a forward-thinking professional that demonstrates commitment to the service, in order to help meet the needs of our communities in Norfolk & Waveney. As part of the new contract and service model the service will be moving to a place-based delivery model and will be focused on reducing health inequalities across the Norfolk & Waveney working closely with other health providers and VCSE., As a partnership we offer a range of psychological, employment and social interventions across Norfolk & Waveney, working in line with the national NHS Talking Therapies manual and our key national and local metrics. Therapies offered include one-to-one guided self- help, CBT, Interpersonal Therapy, Cognitive Analytic Therapy, Couples Therapy for Depression, Counselling for Depression and EMDR. Our colleagues, employed by Mind offer Employment Advice, Peer Support Work and Community Development Coordinators are out in the community engaging at all levels.

We are a service committed to compassionate leadership and the development of our staff is important to us. You will receive regular supervision as well as in service training and CPD days that ensure your continued learning and development. We are a research-friendly service currently involved in a number of projects focussing on improving outcomes for our service users, and ways of developing the support offered to therapists to achieve this. We are also passionate about technology, utilising virtual reality and other innovations where these aid therapy and improve the experience for our service users.

About us

This is a community-based role that will require working face-to-face with colleagues. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management across the service supporting the Service Manager. You will require exceptional organisational skills, an ability to filter demands and prioritise effectively, with a good grasp of what can be appropriately delegated.

Day to day problem solving whilst maintaining an eye on the strategic direction of the service is important.

You will ensure quality service provision and delivery across Norfolk and Waveney and support the Service Manager, Deputy Clinical Lead, Data & Performance Manager, Deputy Service Managers and Lead Therapists in achieving our key performance outcomes and growing our successful service. You will receive regular line management and support from the Service Manager.

You will have proven experience working in operational management, be motivated and have an ability to inspire and lead others, with the ability to lead and manage change through challenging times . A 'can do' attitude is essential. You will be responsible for the line management of Clinical Team Leaders and work collaboratively with all colleagues throughout the service and partnership.
