Urgent and Emergency Care Division are looking to recruit a enthusiastic, confident Deputy Service Manager who is passionate about improving services for our patients. Our ideal candidate will understand and aligned themselves to our Trust values, will be a team player who has the ambition to see the team succeed in our goals and is confident in seeking out ways in which we can improve and working with our teams to implement improvements.
Our Operations team work closely together and support one another in our achievements, as well as working in partnership with our wider UEC teams. As a Division we are proud to support individuals in achieving not only their team goals but also their personal ambition.
If you enjoy working in an ever evolving, fast paced Division and you are a dynamic, organised individual who would be interested in assisting us to deliver our future vision for Urgent and Emergency care then we look forward to receiving your application., The post holder will be responsible for supporting the Urgent and Emergency Care Leadership team with operational management and the efficient delivery of services within Urgent and Emergency Care at Peterborough City Hospital and Hinchingbrooke Hospital.
The role is cross site between Hinchingbrooke and Peterborough Hospital. The main base will be Peterborough City Hospital but travel across sites will be expected.
The post holder will support planning and coordination, including same day emergency care pathways, emergency department performance, and assist with delivering improvement plans within Urgent and Emergency Care at both sites. Where required, the post holder will initiate and implement recovery actions for performance, working closely with the Urgent Care management team and Divisional Business Development Team to provide analysis of performance and activity planning.
The post holder will lead the development and management of working practices within the admin and performance functions to ensure the delivery of an efficient and responsive service, encompassing new initiatives, policies and procedural changes and processes.
