King's Mill Hospital is looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse. As a Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the standards and quality of care provided to patients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the Deputy, regularly taking charge of the ward and ensuring high standards of care and environment.
- Providing effective leadership and role modeling, offering regular direct clinical care.
- Working flexibly within the ward/department team to ensure standards are maintained, evaluated, and improved as necessary.
- Supporting clinical audits and maintaining essential nursing care standards
- Managing day-to-day staff operations, including appraisals, recruitment, disciplinary issues, work allocation, and training delivery.
