Join the House of CB team as a Deputy Store Manager in our flagship Oxford Street, London store and become a key player in an evolving global fashion phenomenon., Through inspiring and commercially focused leadership, the Deputy Store Manager will motivate and develop the team to create a memorable and inclusive customer experience which drives overall store performance. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the retail team, as well as ensuring a high level of compliance within the store. You will monitor the performance of product and proactively propose action plans to reach and exceed targets. Through strong communication and vision, you will onboard positive brand ambassadors, retain talent and maintain a positive work environment which champions teamwork and individual development.

Customer Experience:

  • Promote a polished, professional, and positive environment to achieve an exceptional level of customer service and satisfaction.

  • Work quickly and efficiently to recognise and act upon store requirements to ensure customer service, teamwork and performance does not suffer, no matter how busy the location.

  • Identify future customer opportunities through an in-depth understanding of product and service requirements.

  • Actively manage the customer flow on the shop floor through maintaining a managerial presence to ensure exceptional service is delivered and the team are fulfilling brand expectations.

  • Manage and resolve customer issues to retain the customer loyalty and relationship.


  • Sales & Profit:
  • Work innovatively and commercially within Company guidelines to consistently drive, achieve, and exceed sales targets.

  • Analyse sales and KPI reports and confidently take action to maximise results.

  • Plan, implement and monitor store and payroll budgets to ensure they are not exceeded. Identify business opportunities and provide weekly feedback to Senior Management regarding product performance, operational procedures, sales techniques, and customer experience.

  • Actively protect profit, and always prevent loss.


  • Visual & Merchandising:
  • Partner with the Store Manager, Operation Manager and Visual Merchandising team to provide tangible feedback on product performance to reach store targets and grow the business.

  • Maintain consistent inventory levels to commercially manage store profitability and ensure the image and merchandising guidelines of the store are maintained.

  • Delegate and manage daily replenishment, delivery, and general stock organisational tasks.


  • People & Culture:
  • Initiate or attend daily team meetings to communicate current business trends and relevant updates to motivate the team each day.

  • Follow HR best practises to participate in employee performance evaluations, wellbeing check-in's and annual appraisals to ensure growth and success.

  • Actively participate in, recruiting, onboarding, training and retaining a productive, energetic and diverse team.

  • Identify and align talent with job functionality to ensure a positive and consistent customer experience.

  • Support the Store Manager with schedules, vacation, and payroll tasks.

    Do you have retail management experience ? required

  • A proven track record of retail management and leadership experience.

  • A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and dedicated to exceeding expectations.

  • Strong communication skills to effectively lead, motivate and retain talent.
